With Yosemite National Park in Mariposa’s backyard,
the county is known for friendly citizens who greet or
play host to the large number of visitors who come from
around the world. Largely unchanged since the gold rush.
Mariposa remains one of a handful of towns in California
without a stoplight.
While not open to the public, we enjoy hosting groups that share our mission. The Happy Goat is only a three-hour drive from the Bay Area. Alternatively, we are adjacent to the Mariposa-Yosemite Airport. For events, our aircraft will coordinate pickup for groups in Southern California. It’s an easy jump from the airport to our property.
The Happy Goat borders our partner project: EVP, a 1,500-acre event-space, amphitheater, and experiential center for electric two and four-wheeled vehicles. Together, we approach two avenues for affecting climate change: regenerative agriculture and sustainable transportation.
